February 2009 is getting musically conch-ious . .
Two outdoor musical events are being lined up for Melbourne city central in February. Aspart of the January and February ramp up on water democracy and justice, brassy band The Conch (who helped raise money to get the Watershed Vic off the ground in October 2008) will be performing their inspiring, groovin’ tunes and dancey Latino-Carribbean rhythms of social change.

On Feb 3rd 2009, Watershed and our Victorian Water Forum brethren will team up with The Conch and other identities to inform and uplift Victorians who have had enough crap from the Department of xxxking the Environment and the Brumby water cartel
Contrary to the ongoing lies and mis-information from the wild Brumby-Holding-Up-A-Water-Cartel, the water and sustainability groups all have always had clear, safe water solutions and fresh thinking . Once again in February we will expose the insane and corrupt processes of the ‘Brumby cartel’, and we’ll do it with style, costed solutions and dancable music.
